5th Grade Teacher
I was born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida, where I met my husband, a US Marine. We moved to Jacksonville, NC where I completed my education degree at the University of North Carolina Wilmington. While in North Carolina, I worked as a substitute teacher at the Camp Lejeune DoDEA schools, and later as a fourth-grade teacher at Infant of Prague Catholic School. While this is only my 8th year as a full-time teacher in the classroom, I have been involved with Catholic schools for the last 20 years, volunteering in my children’s schools and working as a teacher’s assistant. We moved to Beaufort in 2013 where I accepted a third-grade position here at St. Peter’s Catholic School. This is my 5th year at the school, and I am currently teaching fifth grade.
