My name is Christie Mauritz. After much thought and prayer, my family and I decided to move to Beaufort from Greenville, SC last
summer. Our youngest son, Connor, attends John Paul II Catholic High School. Our older son, Evan, is a junior at Clemson University (Go Tigers!) studying Mechanical Engineering. We are so excited to be in Beaufort and to be parishioners at St. Peter’s! I have a B.A. degree in Early Childhood Education from Columbia College, and have taught elementary school grades Kindergarten through 6th at Prince of Peace Catholic School and Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic School in Greenville. While teaching I have been working towards a master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from the College of Charleston. I cannot express how excited and blessed I am to have the opportunity to teach at St. Peter’s Catholic School! Thank you, Jesus for such a beautiful gift. My family and I look forward to meeting many new friends!
